For our new topic, I would like for you to write about something recently that made you laugh; something you thought was funny. This could be something humorous you saw or heard on TV, at the movie theater, or in your real life.

Last weekend my grandmother came up from Portland to my home in Kirkland for a visit. I thought it would be a great idea to take my Grandmother to down town Kirkland to shop around and eat lunch. So, when my grandmother and my mother arrived at my house, I drove them to down town Kirkland and we shopped around. Both my grandmother and mother seemed to really enjoy themselves; they loved looking at the large houses on the waterfront and shopping in some of the fancy boutiques. They were really enjoying themselves. However, that enjoyment came to a stop... As my grandmother, mother, and I were waiting at a crosswalk, deciding which restaurant we were going to, pigeons flew over our heads and
unfortunately dark, and gooey splatter fell from my the sky and onto my grandmother's head!
Sadly, a bird left "droppings" on my grandmother's head. When my mother and I figured out what had happened, we laughed so hard we cried! Thankfully, my grandmother has a good sense of humor, because she laughed too!
